Scheduling

engineer9 can run recurring tasks for you, such as an end-of-day summary, a periodic health check, or a weekly reminder. You set them up by asking in plain language; there’s nothing to configure by hand.

How it works

1. You ask engineer9 to schedule a task.
2. It sets up the schedule and confirms.
3. When the time comes, engineer9 runs the task and posts in your channel, just as if you’d asked it then.

Examples

@engineer9 post an EOD summary every weekday at 5 PM

@engineer9 check if our status page is up every hour

@engineer9 show me all active schedules

@engineer9 delete the EOD summary schedule

You can list, change, or remove schedules the same way by asking. Your dashboard also shows every schedule and its recent runs, where you can pause, resume, or delete them. See Your dashboard.
